MANAGING DIRECTOR
JAMES MILLIGAN
Owner and sole director, James Milligan founded Milligan Group in 2010 after a successful 8-year career in the Australian Army as a Commando.
His goal was simple: to create signature buildings that inspire people and add meaningful value to communities.
With a keen eye for detail, James prides himself on leading a team that works collaboratively with consultant teams, consent authorities and community stakeholders, to achieve successful outcomes across a wide range
of different developments.
HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT
JARROD WHITE
Jarrod White has extensive urban planning and project management experience – from stints in private consultancy through to working for government organisations.
His knowledge and insight is demonstrated through a career that has included a range of urban design, statutory and strategic planning projects.
With a commitment to innovative, thoughtful design, Jarrod’s aim is to deliver engaging projects that positively contribute to the quality of life of people and communities.
OFFICE MANAGER
TESSA DOUNAN
Tessa Dounan joins Milligan Group with 7 years’ experience in a top tier law firm. She aims to ensure the office is constantly running smoothly and efficiently.
She is professional, organised and resourceful, bringing such skills to the table as strong communication, attention to detail, and great interpersonal skills.
Tessa looks forward to adding value and sharing in the success and growth of Milligan Group.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
CHRIS LAINA
Chris Laina was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2019 after having been a long-time trusted adviser for Milligan Group.
As a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting and business advisory services, he is keen to guide the business as it continues to expand its operations in the years to come.
Personally, Chris has a strong appreciation for community, health, environment and people. He is excited to be part of an organisation that has the ability and vision to be a significant positive influence on these core principles.
FINANCE MANAGER
TONY HUA
Tony Hua is a Chartered Accountant that started his career in 2014. As Finance Manager, Tony oversees the financial operations of Milligan Group, planning ahead to ensure any short- and long-term goals are met.
Tony is an individual who thrives in a team environment and actively seeks to bring the best out of himself and the people around him.
He is excited to be a part of the Milligan Group team, an organisation that strives to make a real positive difference to the surrounding community.
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
MATT BALLAM
As Development Manager, Matt Ballam brings over 7 years’ experience in the built environment industry. Originally from Brisbane and having spent time in the UK, Matt has worked across a variety of projects, from master planned communities, boutique residential developments, and commercial spaces.
Matt has developed strong project management experience and a passion for the industry, and strongly believes in fostering a collaborative environment.
He is driven by his passion for innovative design and architecture, and aims to create refined, transformative developments that excite the property landscape.
